Lawyer, Louis Guertin, focused on residential real estate and related services. While his business was steady, the market was changing and he recognized a need to brand his firm, realizing that as sign with his name on it wouldn’t be enough to compete in the future.
The goals were to make the firm’s services better known, its differentiation clear, and attract younger first-time homeowners. The brand would need longevity, as Guertin anticipated handing the business over to a younger generation.
We developed a fresh, youthful visual identity years before doing so was the trend for law firms. The logo’s icon and tagline, “Opening Doors for Generations”, together conveyed the firm’s focus while conforming to the legal industry’s rules around to branding and messaging.
We rolled out the new brand in a website with features designed to anticipate client needs and provide helpful information. We also created two brochures – one aimed at the firm’s real-estate colleagues, and the other at clients. The brand and website, created in 2013, remain fresh and relevant, supporting Louis’ daughter, Nathalie, as she continues to run the firm.
